BioRAFT is Now SciShield!

BioRAFT has rebranded as SciShield

BioRAFT has been rebranded and is now SciShield! They are the same product, team, and company but with refreshed branding. The SciShield name embodies their mission to provide enterprise solutions required to maintain safe and productive campuses.  Boston University uses SciShield (formerly BioRAFT), a research management platform, to manage training compliance, inspections, chemical inventory,  hazardous waste pickups, radiological permit registrations, and a variety of other functions.

As part of the rebranding, our bu.bioraft.com instance will automatically redirect to bu.scishield.com . You may still access the application using either URL.

  • The platform will be down for 1 hour on 07/19/2024 for the transition.
  • No action is needed from you!
  • After the rebranding, all mentions of “BioRAFT” will be changed to “SciShield”.
  • Any “bu.bioraft.com” will automatically be redirected to “bu.scishield.com”.
