Emergency Management (EM) coordinates a comprehensive program designed to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from any threat, emergency, or disaster that could disrupt the University’s educational program and support operations. The department meets regularly with representatives from all of the University’s schools, colleges, and departments in a collaborative effort to assess risks and examine response efforts. In addition, EM creates policies, procedures, plans, and internal and external outreach strategies, and provides multi-year strategic planning.
