Strategic Plan & Annual Reports
Impact Report
From heart disease to climate change, the complex problems of our world demand an engineering approach that embraces bold collaboration among engineers and researchers in medicine, business and the sciences. This is convergence, and it has reshaped the Boston University College of Engineering into a school unlike most in the nation. It all takes root with a focus on six convergent research themes. We unite biomedical, mechanical, computer, electrical, materials science and systems engineers with experts in physics, chemistry, data science, medicine and other fields. This collaboration is producing unprecedented initiatives and solutions that are changing the way our society takes on complex challenges.
Strategic Plans
To empower engineering students at all levels to solve complex societal problems and faculty to drive high impact research associated with one or more convergent research themes.
