Invitation to Self-Identify

An Invitation to Self-Identify as a person with a disability was sent to the BU community on December 14, 2020. You are welcome to update this information at any time during your employment with the University. For instructions on how to self-identify, please use this guide: MyBUWorks Self-ID How-To Guide. In case you do not have the self-ID tile available on your home screen, please follow these instructions to add it: Manually Add Self-ID Tile.

In BUWorks, an employee can add or update their self-identification for race/ethnicity, disability status, and veteran status.

Annual Security Report

By October 1 of each year, Boston University publishes a campus security report for each of its campuses, in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, or Clery Act.
