Bob Maxwell

Assistant Director for Academic Support

Bob provides academic support to undergraduate and graduate students at Boston University through individual meetings and group workshops. He collaborates with faculty and staff in each of the individual schools and colleges to assist students in their pursuit of academic excellence.

Prior to joining the Educational Resource Center, Bob taught history at the high school level for over twenty years. He also worked in the corporate sector and served in the military. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Le Moyne College, a Master of Arts degree in American History from Gettysburg College, and a Master of Education degree from Fitchburg State University.

In his free time, Bob enjoys spending time with his wife and their very energetic Labrador Retriever, visiting family and friends around New England, and reading history and instructional science.
