Event Highlights: The Rhetoric of Discontent: Transatlantic Perspectives on Populism
This lecture by Vivien A. Schmidt, Jean Monnet Professor of European Integration, Professor of International Relations in the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies, and Professor of Political Science at Boston University, as well as Founding Director of BU’s Center for the Study of Europe, took place at Boston University’s Rajen Kilachand Center on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. The event, hosted by the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies, in collaboration with the Center for the Study of Europe, was followed by a gala reception in celebration Prof. Schmidt’s career at Boston University in view of her retirement at the end of this year.
