2018 International Holocaust Remembrance Day Commemoration: Meaning of Rescue Then and Now

  • Starts6:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2018
  • Ends8:30 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2018

The few hopeful stories to emerge from the Holocaust regard rescuers who saved Jewish lives at their own peril. On the 73rd anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, please join with AJC New England and Boston University to re-live some of these stories with the Consulates General of Israel, Italy, France, Portugal and Poland, and Roger Brooks, President and CEO of Facing History and Ourselves. We will then explore how these stories inform the way we respond to today’s humanitarian struggles.
