Edima Ottoho, is a global health professional currently serving on the Independent Review Committee for Technical Advice Connect LTD/GTE under the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She is also a board member for SmileTrain’s Young Leadership Circle, an Elinor Ostrom Fellow at the Mercatus Center, and a Pardee Doctoral Fellow at Boston University. Her diverse experience includes leading the Women’s Leadership in Global Health Project at Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, teaching at Boston University, and contributing to public health projects in Nigeria. Edima holds a DrPH from Boston University, an MBA from the University of South Wales, an MPH from the University of Calabar, and a B.Sc. in Genetics and Biotechnology, with additional training in strategic project management from EduQual UK.
Research Interests: Improving healthcare governance, leadership, and policy, Exploring opportunities for health services integration for improved equity and access in marginalized and vulnerable populations, Maternal and child health, Non-communicable diseases.
