
Sima Bou
Former Project Officer
Sima Bou is a Research Affiliate at Northeastern University’s Institute of Social Justice and Health Equity, focusing on social structure and mental health among migrants and people of color. With a PhD in Population Health from Northeastern, they lead intersectional and epidemiological research. Previously, they served as a Research Associate at the World Health Organization (WHO), contributing to drug pricing transparency initiatives. They also completed internships at Management Sciences for Health (MSH) and Boston University, where they advocated for equitable pharmacy access and studied antimicrobial resistance. Sima Bou holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from the American University of Beirut.
