ChoreoLab – 5.5

 

Boston University’s Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance is pleased to present ChoreoLab 2019, an informal showing of choreography dance created by and for the Boston University community. There will be one performance on Sunday, May 5 at 4 pm. Admission is free. This production showcases a wide variety of original works by student and faculty choreographers.

ChoreoLab 2019 will include student and faculty choreography from credit and noncredit classes taught by Jossie Coleman (Afro-Fusion, CardioJazzFunk, and Hip Hop), Marin Orlosky Randow (Aerial Dance Repertory and Aerial Apparatus Choreography), and Lynda Rieman (Aerial Apparatus Choreography). There is one piece choreographed by Dance Theatre Group student, Rachel Zhu. Music selections will vary across genres and artists.

The Boston University Dance Theater, located at 915 Commonwealth Avenue, is a 223-seat state-of-the-art studio/theatre space designed specifically for dance performances, classes, and special events.
