Origins 2021 – 11.19 & 11.20.21
Boston University’s Dance Theatre Group is pleased to present ORIGINS 2021, a fall dance concert, on November 19 at 8 pm and November 20 at 8pm. This production showcases a wide variety of original works by student and faculty choreographers and will take place in Boston University’s Dance Theatre.
Highlighting the talent and creativity of BU students, ORIGINS 2021 will include:
● Student-choreographed pieces, mentored by dance faculty Micki Taylor-Pinney, Liz Roncka, and Ann Brown Allen, and William McLaughlin
● Large group and small group performances
● A variety of music and styles, depending on the piece
● Diverse dances, ranging from traditional to experimental, abstract to thematic, and light-hearted to contemplative
ORIGINS 2021 will be happening at Boston University’s Dance Theater, located at 915 Commonwealth Avenue. Dance Theatre Group’s fall concert is presented in cooperation with the Department of Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (Timothy Moore, Executive Director, and Micki Taylor-Pinney, Director of Dance) and partially funded by the Undergraduate Student Fee. Admission to ORIGINS 2021 is $15 for the general public and $10 for students and all members of the BU community with ID.
