Boston University’s Dance Theatre Group is pleased to present our 101st concert season, “ORIGINS 2023: a Fall Dance Concert,” on November 17 at 8 pm and November 18 at 4 pm and 8 pm. The concert showcases a variety of pieces choreographed by BU students. The pieces range from traditional to experimental, thematic to abstract, and lighthearted to contemplative. Tickets are $12 for students with a BU ID, $15 for non-BU students, youth, and senior citizens, and $25 for general admission. The production showcases a wide variety of original works by student choreographers and will take place in Boston University’s Dance Theater.
To access the theater, use the Buick Street entrance and have your tickets ready! We sold out all shows last semester, so there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to get them at the door. These works have been mentored by dance faculty Micki Taylor-Pinney, Liz Roncka, Ann Brown Allen, and Lynda Rieman. The pieces in the show vary greatly in style and mood. From experimental contemporary to upbeat ballet, each dance brings something unique to the stage. We hope to see you there!
