Full Schedule of Events

For 20 years, Boston University’s Fitness & Recreation Center (FitRec) has been a place where students, faculty, staff, and the community have come together to stay active, connect, and build a healthier community. To celebrate this milestone and show appreciation, we’re hosting FitRec 20, a week-long event from March 24 to 30 filled with free fitness opportunities, special events, and giveaways.

As a thank-you, enjoy a free week of FitPass with unlimited access to a variety of group fitness classes. Whether you’re into high-energy workouts, strength training, or mind-body practices, this is a perfect time to try something new or return to an old favorite.

For full-time BU students, there’s an extra reason to visit FitRec this week—each time you swipe in, you’ll be entered to win one of 100 exclusive FitRec 20 swag bags. The more you visit, the better your chances, and winners will be announced on March 31.

The celebration also features special events throughout the week, including free climbing gear rentals at the Climbing Wall and themed fitness classes that bring a fun, nostalgic twist to your routine. Join us for a 2005-themed spin class to relive the music of FitRec’s opening year, an energetic cardio dance session, a restorative yoga class to help you unwind, and more.

FitRec 20 week is all about celebrating the FitRec community—past and present—who have made this space more than just a gym. Whether you’ve been a regular for years or are visiting for the first time, we invite you to take part in the fun, enjoy the free perks, and be part of this special milestone.
