Boston University’s Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance is pleased to present ChoreoLab 2025, an informal showing of choreography created by the Boston University dance community. There will be one performance on Sunday, April 27, at 6-7:30 pm that is FREE and Open to the Public. This production showcases a wide variety of original works by faculty, Jossie Coleman, aerial dance student choreographers, facilitated by faculty, Molly Baechtold, and final projects from CFA dance minors. It takes place in Boston University’s Dance Theater. Lighting will be designed by Stephanie Howell. The ChoreoLab 2025 coordinators are Lynda Rieman and Micki Taylor-Pinney.
ChoreoLab 2025 will include student and faculty choreography from our credit and noncredit dance program:
- Jossie Coleman’s CFA Dance Styles of the African Diaspora and PERD Afro-Fusion, Cardio Jazz Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Heels classes
- Solos from Directed Study in Composition by CFA dance minors, Kodi Bagwell and Kim Andrade.
- A medley of aerial dance choreography by students Alice Delisle, Amy Ko, Anna Nica, Chelsea Noble, Chika Onubogu, Fawn Thompson, Larissa Pinheiro Spinelli, directed by instructor, Molly Baechtold.
The Boston University Dance Theater, located at 915 Commonwealth Avenue (entrance on Buick St.), is a 223-seat state-of-the-art studio/theatre space designed specifically for dance performances, classes, and special events.
