Eugene Chong

Eugene became a New Jersey EMT in 2016 and volunteered for a local ambulance squad before coming to Boston University in 2017. He began working as an EMT for BUEMS during his first semester, and earned his CPR Instructor and EMT I/C certifications. Throughout his undergraduate studies, Eugene continued to work for BUEMS as an EMS Instructor, Field Training Officer, and Operations Supervisor. After earning his bachelor’s in biology at the College of Arts and Sciences in 2021, he continued to work for BUEMS as the Training Coordinator. He is excited to continue to support and work with BUEMS as the EMS Assistant Manager. Outside of work, Eugene enjoys spending his time playing the piano or relaxing with his dogs.
