Kate Durant

Associate Director, Programs

Prior to joining the team at Boston University, Kate served for four years in the municipal sector as a Project Development Coordinator for the New York City Parks and Recreation Department where she planned and managed sports and fitness initiatives across the five boroughs. Kate also served as the Club Sports Coordinator at the University of Connecticut, where she managed 42 club teams, implemented an athletic training program for the club sports athletes, and led the club sports program through the process of constructing a $1.3 million field complex. Kate is also a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor, and has taught classes for over nine years. She has competed in everything from 5Ks to marathons to triathlons. In 2015, she finished Ironman Lake Placid! In her down time, Kate enjoys playing sports, eating pizza, and hanging out with Louis the Cocker Spaniel, pictured here, and Polly the Yorkie-Poo.
