Micki Taylor-Pinney

Micki Taylor-Pinney is the daughter of dance teachers. Her mother attended Sargent College when there was a Physical Education major. After attending University of Massachusetts, Amherst for her BS and the University of North Carolina, Greensboro for her MFA, Micki returned to Boston. Since 1985, she has directed the dance program, advising the student dance company, Dance Theatre Group, and more recently, co-directing the dance minor program in CFA and Reach, a summer outreach program for urban youth. She started dancing with Boston Dance Collective in 1986 and was an artistic director from 1998 to 2006.
