If you like sports and are looking for a fun on-campus job, working as an intramural official might be the job for you! Check out these frequently asked questions about becoming an official that may help you make your decision.
Make no mistake about it though, this job is tough. We refer to this as “the hardest job on campus,” but those who like a challenge, working hard, and utilizing problem solving and interpersonal skills find this can also be one of the most fun jobs on campus. In order to expedite the hiring process please follow the steps under the header that applies to your situation.
If you are interested in becoming a referee and plan to attend the General Officials Meetings please complete the following prior to the meeting:
- Fill out the Online I9 form.
- For paperwork purposes we ask that you bring passport. If you do not have a passport please bring your driver’s license, as well as your social security card or birth certificate.
If the General Officials Meetings has passed but you are still interested in working for us:
- Please email Jordan Brodeur at imsports@bu.edu prior to filling out any online paperwork.
