FitRock Boulder Competition

Participants 18 and older can register for one of the following time slots: Section 01: 10-11:30am Section 02: 11:30am – 1pm Section 03: 1:30-3pm Section 04: 3-4:30pm

During check-in registrants will get their score card and choose their category and division: Divisions: Beginner (bouldering grade Vb-V2), intermediate (V3-V5), advanced (V6+) Categories: Men's, Women's, Non-binary

VSI Description: Welcome to our 10th annual BU FitRock Climbing Comp! This year we have made some awesome changes to our event including a fresh set of boulder problems set by our amazing routesetting team and unique prizes for our top scorers. We hope you are as stoked as we are! The competition will take place on Saturday, February 22nd. Registration will be open to men, women, and non-binary climbers within beginner, intermediate, and advanced divisions. Prizes will be awarded to the climbers with the highest scores of each division. The event will culminate in a final showdown of the top 3 advanced male, female, and nonbinary climbers, starting at 6:30 PM. Please note that in accordance with recommendations from the Office of Civil Rights in the U.S. Department of Education, individuals participating in this competition may do so in accordance with their gender identity, should that be relevant, regardless of any medical treatments. We encourage any and all climbers to contact buop@bu.edu prior to competing if questions exist. Competitors may not climb at FitRec the day of or the day prior to the event, in order to preserve the integrity of the competition. We will be open to spectators, so come to cheer your friends and get to know the BU outdoor recreation community. Just be sure to register for a FitRock Spectator Pass below to secure your entrance to the building. Details on rules and prizes will be posted on our website bu.edu/fitrec/climb
