Katharine Canfield
Senior Director, Foundation Relations
Katharine Canfield is Senior Director of Foundation Relations at the School of Medicine, which she has served since 2014. She has been an organizational fundraiser for more than two decades, building relationships with private and federal funders to advance research, community-based initiatives, and institutional missions. Prior to joining Boston University, she worked at Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston Medical Center, and Pine Street Inn. She has a master’s degree in journalism, and has worked as an editor, nonprofit communications professional, and freelance writer.
