Susan Sheng

Susan joined the Foundation Relations team in May 2024, and works with the science faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences to obtain funding from private foundations. She received her BA in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, and her PhD in Neuroscience & Physiology from New York University. Prior to BU, Susan spent 4 years as the Science Writer/Editor for the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she assisted physician-scientists with grants and manuscripts, and also managed internal and external communications for the division.
