Dr. Bahar Erbas is a lecturer in the Department of Economics at Boston University. Her primary research interests are environmental, resource and energy economics and public economics. Her research particularly focuses on environmental regulations and climate change. Another strand of her work includes forest goods and ecosystem valuations. She has public sector experience at US Department of Treasury and The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities as well as shorth term consultancy experiences at the World Bank and Eastern Research Group, Inc. Dr. Erbas teaches various courses at undergraduate and master level including Environmental Economics and Public Economics. She holds a Ph.D. from The Pennsylvania State University.
