Özlem Ömer is a Non-Resident Research Fellow with the Global Economic Governance Initiative at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center. She was an assistant professor at NEVÜ in Turkey. Her research interests include growth and inequality, distributive impacts of economic policies, forces and dynamics of structural change, and financial crises, among others. She holds an MS in Economic Policy from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a PhD from the New School for Social Research.
