Rosario Santa Gadea

Dr. Santa Gadea is Director of the Peru-China Studies Center of the University of the Pacific (UP), and researcher and coordinator in the Economics, Business, and International Relations Area of the UP Center for Research (CIUP).  She holds a doctorate and master’s degree in International Economics from the Université Paris Ouest, Nanterre la Défense (France).  

In the past, she has served as national coordinator for the South American Regional Integration Infrastructure (IIRSA) project, senior researcher and coordinator at the European – Latin American Relations Institute (IRELA), and staff member for the General Secretariat of the Andean Community. She has also conducted consulting work for Peru’s International Relations, Defense, and Economy Ministries, as well as Peru’s Prime Minister’s Office (Presidenia del Consejo de Ministros), the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), the Inter-American Development Bank, the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) and the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI).
