- Reporting to the Director and Assistant Director of the Global Development Policy Center, the Policy Liaison for the Global Development Policy Center’s Global Economic Governance Initiative (GEGI) is responsible for representing GEGI and for advancing its evidence-based research into tangible policy solutions. The Policy Liaison will network among policy-makers, advocates, and social movements, cross-fertilizing across national efforts, and translating policy proposals back and forth between national level work, global civil society networks, and global economic governance institutions. The Policy Liaison will also direct social media efforts specific to GEGI to advance policy proposals and networking efforts.
The Global Economic Governance Initiative (GEGI) was founded in 2008 to advance policy-relevant knowledge about governance for financial stability, human development, and the environment and is now housed at the GDP Center. The GDP Center’s mission is to advance policy-oriented research for financial stability, human well-being, and environmental sustainability. We conduct rigorous policy research; provide a convening place for scholars and stakeholders; engage in policy dialogue with policy-makers, civil society, and media; and offer experiential learning for Boston University students.
- Required Skills
- 5 to 8 years of work experience. Masters degree required.
