Abbi Kedir
Director, Research, African Economic Research Consortium
Abbi M. Kedir is the Director of Research at the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) and on leave from his position as an Associate Professor in international business in the Management School of the University of Sheffield, UK. In addition to long years of services in UK academia, he has experience working both in government and international organizations, such as the United Nations as well as consulting experience with the World Bank and African Development Bank. He published more than 45 journal articles. He is editorial board member of Journal of Development Studies; Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour and Research; Economies; and Frontiers in Environmental Science. Abbi is currently member of the Task Force on Climate, Development and the International Monetary Fund.
