Michael Palmedo studies the effects of changing intellectual property laws on consumers and firms, as well as the impact of intellectual property rules in trade agreements. He manages interdisciplinary research at AU Washington College of Law’s Program on Information Justice and Intellectual Property, and has taught economics as an Adjunct Professor at the College of Arts & Sciences and the School of International Service online MAIR program.

He is a member of the Working Group on Trade Treaties and Access to Medicines housed within the Global Economic Governance Initiative.
