Sunil Kanoria

Sunil Kanoria (Par Questrom ’12) is a member of the Boston University Global Development Policy Center Alumni Advisory Board. He is currently the Honorary Consul of Spain in Kolkata. He is also the President of The Agri-Horticultural Society of India. He has served as Member of the Construction Sector in the 10th Five Year Plan of the Planning Commission of the Government of India. He is a Council Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, nominated by the Government of India. Under Sunil’s guidance, Srei Equipment Finance Limited has emerged as India’s number one infrastructure equipment financier with over 32 percent market share. To unleash the power of rural entrepreneurship, Sunil, along with his brother, created a strong rural infrastructure network providing revenue opportunities to thousands of rural entrepreneurs, impacting millions of lives in rural India. Today, Sunil is one of India’s most respected thought leaders within the domains of infrastructure and finance. He has had the distinction of serving ASSOCHAM, India’s oldest and leading chamber of commerce, as President.
