Core Faculty Seed Grants

The Boston University Global Development Policy Center (GDP Center) seeks to advance policy-oriented research for financial stability, human well-being and environmental sustainability. The GDP Center is a University-wide center in partnership with the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies and the Vice President and Associate Provost for Research.

To fulfill its mission, the GDP Center conducts rigorous policy research; provides a convening place for scholars and stakeholders; engages in policy dialogue with policymakers, civil society and media and offers experiential learning for Boston University students.

In its effort to convene interdisciplinary researchers from across the University, the GDP Center hosts Core Faculty Programs across its three research initiatives: the Global China Initiative (GCI), the Global Economic Governance Initiative (GEGI) and the Human Capital Initiative (HCI). The aim of these programs is to actively support faculty research activities in these focal areas and to foster engagement and collaboration within the BU global development policy research community at large.
