Full Time, Starting June 2011

The Organization
Containers to Clinics is committed to reducing maternal and childhood morbidity and mortality rates by ensuring that women and children in underserved populations have access to high-quality primary health care. We are a non-profit organization that deploys shipping containers retrofitted into state-of-the-art, sustainable health care clinics and collaborate with local non-profit and government organizations to provide comprehensive services, including clinical, lab, pharmacy and programming for women and children. As a result, we create access to low-cost, basic health interventions during the critical months surrounding birth and the first five years of life when women and children are most vulnerable. Driven by the belief that such interventions can significantly reduce maternal/childhood mortality and the successful pilot of its flagship container clinic in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, C2C is committed to replicating and scaling this new clinical model to meet the overwhelming demand for access to basic reproductive and early childhood health care in underserved areas around the world.
