APHA Conference Accepting Late-breaking abstracts
Student Assembly
The APHA Student Assembly invites the submission of late breaker abstracts from students in public health or other related fields presenting results of scientific research, program evaluations, policy analysis, and lessons learned from research or practice for the 139th APHA Annual Meeting. We especially invite abstracts pertaining to this years meeting theme “Healthy Communities promote Healthy Minds and Bodies”.
All abstracts must be submitted through the APHA website between June 1 and July 1, 2011. Please follow the directions on the website. Abstracts must be 250 words or less with the standard background, methods, results, and discussion sections (do NOT submit an extended abstract). Individuals should submit material only if they, or a designee, are committed to presenting the paper or poster at the annual meeting in Washington, DC. Preferences for oral versus poster presentation will be considered, but the program committee will make the final determination. The deadline for late breakers is Friday, July 1, 2011 (It is recommended authors not wait until the last minute to submit abstracts due to potential technical issues).
