3 PAID Fall Internship Opportunity related to childhood diarrheal diseases Center for Global Health and Development
Project Background:
Childhood diarrheal disorders remain one of the top causes of childhood mortality around the world. Currently, there is an international movement to develop a global consensus on the priorities for research and interventions targeting childhood diarrheal morbidity and mortality. As a result, WHO, UNICEF, non-government and university partners formed a consortium to develop a global action plan for childhood diarrhea designed to guide international public health policy. One aspect of this larger project is to prepare six country case studies each including the following elements: 1) Country level situational analysis; 2) Documenting the underlying risk factors related to childhood diarrhea; 3) Reviewing current interventions and programs on the ground; and 4) Summary with conclusions and recommendations for the way forward.
If you are interested in applying for this position please email your CV and cover letter by August 24, 2011 to Marion McNabb (marionm@bu.edu). You will be contacted for an interview if you meet the qualifications.
