Jamil Simon, President, Spectrum Media, will present approaches for promoting reform and getting practical information to stakeholders in developing countries. He will also talk about the various tools that are available to disseminate information. The talk will feature case studies with videos and other media made for projects in Malawi, the Central African Republic and Haiti.
Spectrum Media: Documentary Films and Communication Strategies for a Global Audience, has worked on a number of successful projects in developing countries– promoting sustainable agriculture in Malawi, environmental conservation in Madagascar and crisis communications in Haiti. Mr. Simon has also designed communications strategies to promote democracy in Mali, water conservation in Tunisia, capital markets in Indonesia and conflict resolution education in Jordan.
