Rabin Martin Associate/Senior Associate position available: health sector management-consulting and communications firm
Rabin Martin is in search of an energetic individual to join our growing firm as an Associate/Senior Associate. Candidate should have experience in public health programming, ideally in women’s health in the global arena. Strong program development and implementation skills/experience as well as excellent communications (verbal and written) skills/experience are necessary for this position.

We are currently looking to hire an Associate or Senior Associate to support a client’s corporate responsibility initiative on maternal mortality reduction. The ideal candidate will be able to start immediately and jump in to provide support wherever needed. Work on other client projects may be incorporated over time.
The Associate/Senior Associate will:
- Support development and implementation of short and long-term client strategies and programs
- Conduct desk research and stakeholder interviews to inform program recommendations
- Write, edit and prepare special reports, issue briefs, proposals and other client materials and presentations
- Help manage and coordinate relationships with stakeholders from various sectors (government, NGO, corporate, multi-lateral)
- Provide counsel to client on how to achieve desired objectives (Sr. Associate)
- Stay abreast of trends in global health care affecting women in the developing world
- Occasional travel may be required
Candidates should have the following qualities/skills:
- Creative, organized; ability to work independently and in team setting
- Exceptional writing and research skills, including ability to understand technical literature and interpret data
- Demonstrated program strategy and planning, project management, writing, analytical and communication skills
- Master’s degree in public health, public policy, international affairs or a related field preferred with at least 3+ (Associate) or 6+ (Sr. Associate) years of relevant work experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
- Supervisory experience preferred for Senior Associate candidates
- Experience in corporate social responsibility, public policy, public health programming, public-private partnerships and/or advocacy.
- Work experience in resource-limited settings in low or middle income countries (preferred)
- Experience in women’s health, maternal or reproductive health (preferred)
- Experience working in a consulting environment or with the business sector (preferred)
