Tomorrow 10/19 join PH825 to hear two members of the CDC discuss their Global Disease Detection Program

Friday 10/19 8:30 to 9:30AM, students are invited to sit in on PH825: Human and environmental factors influencing the emergence of infectious diseases to hear two interesting speakers!

 Two speakers from the CDC, Tony Ao and Sonia Hegde will be presenting via the web.  They will be talking about CDC’s Global Disease Detection (GDD) Program and their own field experiences working with Nipah virus outbreaks in Bangladesh.  In addition, they will be describing and taking questions about the postitions they have at the CDC, Tony as an Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Officer and Sonia as an ASPH/CDC Allan Rosenfield Global Health Fellow.  

The meeting with Tony and Sonia will start promptly at 8:30 in Room L213 and last about an hour.
