One Acre Fund (“1AF”) is an innovative non-profit organization that provides a market bundle of services to subsistence farmers in East Africa to enable these families to double their income per planted acre.  They are growing rapidly, and are increasingly looking to connect with students on university campuses to staff this growth.

Three resources for interested students and early career professionals:

1. 1AF is hosting a careers call on September 25, at 8:00 pm EDT.  1AF’s Chief People Officer will discuss their model and operations as well as how to get a job in the field of international development. To register, click here!

2. For those contemplating careers in international development, they recommend the following fellowship programs to gain more experience:

a. Princeton in Africa
b. Global Health Corps
c. Peace Corps
d. Kiva
e. Nuru
3. If you or someone you know would like to be added to their monthly careers newsletter, please email them at careers@oneacrefund.org with the subject line “add me to the careers newsletter.”
