Health & Human Services Department seeks intern
The Newton Health and Human Services Department, Youth Services Division, seeks a college student intern.
Qualified applicants will have completed a minimum of one year of undergraduate work in health education, public health, social work or related field.
The internship is for one to two days per week for a total of 5 hours. A stipend is available. The intern will be supervised by the Director of Youth Services. Specific duties include writing for the city website, local newspapers and social media, scheduling events, and other related projects.
Applicants must be capable of independent work, possess excellent writing skills, be creative, and have an interest in the topic of Youth Stress.
