The Graduate International Relations Council at Boston University’s Pardee School of Global Studies is excited to announce our third annual conference at Boston University on February 27-28, 2015.

Global Development, Peace and Security: Advancing Human Progress

The Graduate International Relations Council at Boston University’s Pardee School of Global Studies announces their third annual graduate student conference: Global Development, Peace and Security: Advancing Human Progress.

We invite papers from graduate students in a broad spectrum of disciplines, including, but not limited to: Anthropology, Economics, Education, Environmental Studies, Geography, History, International Relations, Law, Media Studies, Political Science, Public Health, Religion, and Sociology.

As one of the driving principles of International Relations, the advancement of human progress can take myriad forms. Encompassing everything from the economics of development to theories of security and international negotiations to the science of public health and environmental sustainability, by its very nature human advancement is a broad and interdisciplinary quest. This conference seeks to put forth the most convincing and cutting edge research in support of this endeavor.

To Apply: Submit a 400 word abstract to psgsgrad@bu.edu by January 10. Include your name, address, telephone number, and institutional affiliation in the email. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by January 20. 2015 Call for Papers
