Volunteering Opportunity at Teen Parent Lobby Day

Time: 9:00am-12:00pm
Location: State House
We are looking for volunteers who can arrive no later than 9:00 am and stay until 12:00 pm. Program registration begins at 10:00, the program is 10:30 – 11:30 and then people meet with their legislators. We ask that volunteers show up so early, so that we have ample time to orient you and so that you can beat the line that forms outside of the state house as programs start to arrive!
I hope you will be part of this important day. Volunteers play a critical role in making lobby day run smoothly and in ensuring that young people who travel from across the state to participate have an experience they will remember forever. Lobby Day is an opportunity for expectant and parenting teens from across Massachusetts to play a meaningful role in shaping the policies that impact their lives. Please join us in demonstrating that with the right supports, young parents have tremendous potential.
Oh, and there will be breakfast served!
