African Food and Peace Foundation Annual Dinner and Fundraiser

in Outside BU Events
October 27th, 2016

Aid for Africa is a charity alliance of U.S.-based nonprofits and their African partners working to help children, families, and communities throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.

AFPF’s 2016 Annual Dinner and Fundraiser will be held on November 3 at the Charles Hotel in Harvard Square. The Dinner and Fundraiser will raise funds for the innovative, rural development projects by our partner organizations Uganda Rural Development and Training Program (URDT) and African Rural University (ARU). It will also be a great opportunity for BUSPH students, faculty, and staff to engage with influential female African leadership. The Dinner and Fundraiser will feature guest speaker Her Excellency Oliver Wonekha, the Ugandan Ambassador to the United States. Throughout her career, Ambassador Wonekha has addressed agricultural issues and has been outspoken on education for women and girls. The Dinner and Fundraiser will be held from 6pm to 9pm at the Charles Hotel in Harvard Square at 1 Bennett Street, Cambridge, MA 02138. Individual tickets are available for purchase here. For more information, please contact AFPF at info@afpfonline.org.
