Lunch & Learn: Volunteer Management for Change January 22nd
Volunteer Management for Social Change: Building a Global Movement for Health as a Human Right
Facilitated by Jon Shaffer, Community Engagement Coordinator at Partners in Health
January 22 | 12-1 PM | 29 Winter Street, 5th floor | Free
Volunteers are the lifeblood of many nonprofit organizations – we depend on them to raise funds, increase awareness about our organizations, fill skills gaps, and make social change happen. But it can be difficult to keep volunteers engaged and prevent burn out. This session will teach the fundamentals of effective volunteer management for social change. Using Partners in Health as a case study, you’ll learn the good, the bad, and the ugly of volunteer-led community organizing.
