According to the latest U.N. Report on Climate Change, scientists are observing unprecedented changes in the Earth’s climate. Immediate action is necessary, and efforts require collective, bold action on a global scale.
Wealthier nations have a responsibility and opportunity to take the lead in not only funding climate efforts but also setting progressive policy. If not addressed immediately, the devastation from climate change will continue to wreak havoc on communities across the globe, especially those from socioeconomically disadvantaged populations.
Join us during International Education Week to hear from a multidisciplinary panel of BU experts who will discuss the efforts to combat climate change and the ways in which the climate crisis intersects with issues of equity, global health, geopolitics, and more.
We are thrilled to have Science Journalist and WBUR’s Senior Producing Editor Barbara Moran moderate the discussion.
