Join us during International Education Week for a multidisciplinary panel featuring BU faculty and alumni.
The 2024 Paris Olympic Games was the first ever to have an equal number of female and male athletes compete. While progress has been made in the quest for equity, much work remains.
A host of inequities still exist – from health and health care to economic and social – that plague female, non-binary, and transgender athletes on the field, in the media, and the boardroom as (very rare) owners.
We will explore the structural challenges as well potential solutions – and what gives us hope.
Complimentary coffee, tea, and light breakfast will be offered
Livestream
The discussion will be held in-person and livestreamed from this page on Nov. 12 starting at 9:30 am. Please get a free ticket whether you plan to attend in person or via livestream.
