Boyeon Chon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Hong Kong, where she consistently appeared on the Dean’s Honour List and received the H.T. Ho Prize in Art History. She is currently pursuing her MA in the History of Art and Architecture at BU, focusing on Korean Modern and Contemporary Art, with a particular interest in Experimental Art in Korea, a body of artistic production from the 1960s-1970s.

Boyeon has been part of the curatorial teams for the 11th and 12th Gwangju Biennale and has held internship roles at Christie’s Hong Kong and Art Central. Following graduation, she worked as an exhibition team assistant at PKM Gallery in Seoul. This year, she continues her role as a Graduate Assistant at the Boston University Art Galleries.

In her free time, Boyeon enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and discovering new cafes in the Boston area.
