Jamie Rose Valera is an M.A. recipient of Boston University’s program for History of Art and Architecture. Her interests span between the 19th and 21st centuries, and focuses on the notion of “art as archive.” More recently, she is heavily involved in the relationship between non-fungible tokens (NFTs), cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, virtual reality, and A.I. and generative art with museums, archives, and the art market. Valera’s findings, outside of academia, can be found in various arts and culture magazines. She has also extensively consulted students, and currently teaches at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education.
