Mr. Frederick Kwabena Adomako-Ansah is the head of the Commercial Banking Department of Prudential Bank Ghana Limited. He is responsible for the growth of the Commercial Banking portfolio, developing and leading the implementation of the Commercial banking strategy, and leads a team of Relationship Managers across 39 branches of the bank in pursuit of this objective. The Commercial Banking portfolio is made up of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), majority of the businesses is women-owned.

His Humphrey Fellowship goal is to be able to create a pool of local and international start-up and scale-up funders and financiers that are ready to provide funding for MSMEs with a strategic focus on gender finance (women-owned businesses) to support their operations and drive financial inclusion. Access to finance by MSMEs in Ghana is limited and very expensive and even more difficult for women-owned businesses. It is his hope that this program will provide him with the opportunity to broaden his knowledge and understanding of the MSME and gender financing and funding options, the best practices from the United States and other countries and the requirements of available funds to better support MSMEs in Ghana access cheaper funds and training to scale-up their business.

He holds an MBA obtained from Kwame University of Science and Technology in Ghana and a chartered member of the Association of Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana.
