Ms. Silvia Eugenia Felipe Calle leads and supervises the Business performance and planning at Cobee, a private hydroelectric more important in Bolivia. She headed the implementation of the budget module in SAP S4 Hana, financial modeling projections, and legal, financial, operational, and ESG reporting. She is also part of the renewable energy commission of the Bolivian Electric Chamber and participate in citizen commissions that support environmental management and renewable energies.

During her Humphrey Fellowship Program, she will concentrate on research on sustainable financing instruments and investment appraisal of clean electricity generation projects, focusing on decarbonizing the electricity system to minimize global warming. On the other hand, she also hopes to improve her leadership and communication skills by lecturing and sharing about her country’s experiences. For her professional affiliation, she would like to work in an organization that drives and promotes a financial ecosystem with the different actors of the financial market and the private sector to support emerging economies.

Her background is in Commercial Engineering, and holds an MSc in Business Finance, and courses in Investment projects in the region’s power sector, Regulation of Power Generation & Markets, and Project Finance.
