Ms. Tatsiana (Tanya) Masiuk works as Head of Business Development, Financial Institutions, Belgazprombank. Her responsibilities include arrangement of loan facilities from foreign investors to finance SME, developing and maintaining customer relationship with financial institutions, negotiating clean-basis limits to Belgazprombank, exploring new business opportunities and participating in the marketing and selling of bank’s financial products in the areas of lending, structured transactions, syndication, treasury, and trade financing. She has previously worked in the Ministry of Finance of Belarus, where she was in charge of public borrowing activities.

During her Fellowship year, Tatsiana plans to advance her knowledge of tailor-made financial instruments (for instance, special-purpose loans, greenfield investment, crowdfunding) used in the U.S. for SME support. Tatsiana also hopes to establish cooperation with the US financial institutions involved in SME support for the implementation of joint projects.

Her goal is to contribute as much as possible to the development of the private sector in Belarus by elaboration of the overall set of tools focused on SME’s needs.

Ms. Masiuk graduated from the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus and Belarusian National Technical University (Master of Economics).
