“Did You Know You Could…?” Series

A Meet and Learn Series led by the Graduate Student Fellows

The “Did you know you could…?” series provides a venue in which people can quickly get exposed to practical topics either enabling or enabled by computing and data science.  Topics they might not even have realized they wanted to know!  And they can meet other similarly inquisitive people while doing so.  Intended to be an informal, low-barrier mechanism that combines brief, accessible overviews on various topics with opportunities for networking, this series welcomes a broad audience of students, faculty, and staff from across the landscape of disciplines at Boston University to participate.

Offered in the spirit of a brown-bag lunch series (60 minutes in length, with a focused 20-minute lightning presentation, followed by Q&A and an opportunity for networking before and after the seminar), the series events take place monthly.

See below upcoming events. Fall 2020 events will be virtual. For administrative questions, please contact Katherine D’Angelo, Program & Events Manager, at ktd@bu.edu.
