Heidi Dempsey

Research Director of the Northeast US, Red Hat

Heidi Dempsey is the US Research Director for the Northeast at Red Hat. She seeks out and grows research and open source projects with academic and commercial partners in areas such as operating systems, hybrid clouds, performance optimization, networking, security, AI and operations. She also promotes events and develops educational materials to involve students and researchers more deeply in collaborations. Additionally, Dempsey encourages diverse participation in computer science and engineering research. Previously she has worked at Raytheon BBN Technologies, BBN Technologies, MOCA Systems and Genuity.
